I am planning a trip from Chicago to Maine this summer with my brother, from StLouis. I may incorporate this as a south part of the trip and let you know how it went.

I rode this most of this route in Sept 2010. I really enjoyed Route 30 in NY, Route 100 and 125 in the mountains of Vermont, and Route 113 in ME. A trip of a lifetime.
