Longhouse Scenic DR. (Allegheney Forest PA)

This is a great ride if you are camping in the Allegheny Forest/ Kinzua Area.



I have been coming to the Allegheny Forest for some time, but this side road escaped me for some reason. Last year I decided to turn down this road after a ride from Willoughby Ohio to Kinzua Dam (See the other ride I posted 'Dam Fine Ride').



If you are coming from the Cleveland Area put these 2 rides together for a great weekend ride.


I did this ride the second week of October 2008 and the colors where awesome!!


The road conditions are great on this ride. Very curvy and a lot of evevation changes. This is a very engaging ride that keeps you on your toes.



The ride ends in Kane, which is a nice little town.



There are very few facilities until you get on 321 towards Kane. So make sure you are fueled up and have some snacks to munch on at your stops.
