A good starting place for this trip whether you stay over night or just get a bite to eat is the Cliffhouse Inn just south of Jasper on Hwy 7. The inn is on the side of the Ark. Grand Canyon and is very nice. From there head north to Jasper on Hwy 7 to Hwy 74 and turn left and this will head you into some beautiful country and fun riding with tons of views and curves (be careful). This will bring over to Ponca which borders the Buffalo River and some beautiful lush green valleys where there are usually some Elk grazing. Turn south towards Boxley. Outside Boxley is a little park called Lost Valley that is worth the stop. Here you can take a break from riding and take a short hike up to the top of the waterfalls to the Batcave (bring a flashlight) which is a lot of fun. After you have made your hike and continue on your ride you can make frequent stops along the way and check out the beautiful scenic river valley and sites. At the end of the day it might be fun to check out the 100 year old Ozark Cafe in Jasper.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
