After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. We lead this ride with 15 other bikes in the Fall of 08. The ride south on Rte 74 in PA is open country roads with very few controlled intersections. Crossing the Conowingo Dam is scenic. Turn north on 222. This will be much like 74 in PA. Sweeping turns, open country roads, few controlled intersections. When you get to Buck, hang a left on 372. We separated briefly at the light making this turn but I just rode the shoulder real slow and everyone cought up quickly. River Road is twisty with some spots that are kind of rough but no one thought that it was too bad. There are a couple of turns required to stay on River Road namely the left on Martic Rd followed by a quick right back on to River Road. There are some nice stops along the Susquehanna and the Conestoga. Cross back over the Susquehanna and head south again. We ended at Lauxmont Farms Ice Cream that has a great view of the Susquehanna.
