I did this ride with some friends last week. Rt-42 was very pleasant. There were some occasional good leans as well. Roadway was pretty clear and easy riding with a few exceptions where the road was a bit chewed up in spots so keep your eyes open on the road ahead as it wasn't on any one specific road but smattered throughout the ride. All in all it was a pretty uneventful ride. We didn't see anything really of note. We filled up the tanks (4gal) before heading out and made the ride fine without having to refuel. You should have a fresh tank before starting and if you're on smaller tanks I'd top off when you see a spot because the stations are pretty far apart and randomly placed. If you're just looking to tool around town it's a nice ride, but I enjoy seeing wildlife or unique places to pull over for and there wasn't much on this ride. Beautiful scenery to ride past though.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
