Starts out on Blacktop on McNiven Road but soon turn to gravel and mostly gravel for the rest of the ride except for the Hwy 73 return leg.

There is food and a rest area at the corner of Co 65 and Co 25, The Wooden Table Inn has been a good food stop for over 50 years.

From the Dark Lake Road head back on either road to the northwest to get to Hwy 73; take Co hwy 65 west a nice dirt road. It crosses the Sturgeon River before winding toward Perch Lake, we will be staying east of both Perch lake and and the Side lake area.

Co 65 becomes Murray Road when it heads south follow this to the hard right turn and continue straight on the forest service road; if you find yourself on East road you missed your straight (turn).

(If you need fuel take East Road to the Side Lake store).

At the "Y" go east (left) on Shannon Road it's a few miles to the blacktop, take a left at the blacktop "T" you will be following Dewey Lake Shores Road, it will become North Long Lake Road soon.

A few hundred feet after crossing the small creek take the driveway (forest Service road to the north; a left turn) follow this road up to the "T" take a right and in a short few miles you will be back to Hwy 73 and blacktop. Head south (right) back to Chisholm.
