First leg is down the Great River Road from St. Louis to Cairo, IL. Make sure you get gas in Chester, we had to detour to Jonesboro for gas, there is not a lot of stops. Chester IL is the home of Popeye, pretty cool. Make up time to Memphis by getting on 57 to 55 South.40W from Memphis to Ozark Ark, then the PIG TRAIL up 23 to 16 N. The twistys in NW Arkansas are as good as anywhere.Stop for food in Eureka Springs, a very biker friendly neighborhood. Down to Huntsville, then over and up to Branson. There's a lot to do here. When in Springfield you can also visit the Bass Pro Shop which is the biggest and the original.Spend the night in Clinton MO (not much here) and then to the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage, MO. Back to St. Louis
