After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. I found out about this route from a good friend of mine and then it was affirmed by the owner of a Yamaha store. It was a beautiful day and decided to try it out, since the route was supposed to be gorgeous. Well all those people were right. This route avoids the busy I-10 corridor and takes you through the Mesilla Valley full of vineyards and pecan orchards, which stretch across the road and are supposed to be beautiful when in bloom. One way is about an hour to an hour and a half, but there are a couple places to stop along the way so it can become a day adventure. My turn around point was Old Town Mesilla which is an awesome southwest town with lots of cool things to do. They have great restaurants and little artsy shops. Overall the route is wonderful and I plan on doing it again when the trees are in bloom
