This was the route my friends and I took for our Polar Bear Run on January 1st. We went as far as we had good roads but Pinecrest Lake is a good destination year round. The route takes you past La Grange an old mining town that has the oldest operating Saloon in Stanislaus County. Then on up 108 through Jamestown and Sonora. MiWuk Village has two good places to stop for lunch, Diamond Jims and Pie In the Sky Pizza. The route is a good route for newbie riders having mostly long straights and sweeping turns but the scenery is worth the time for all.

We rode this route today. It was a hot day, even at the higher elevations but it was a fun ride

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
