Hey! ;)This is a trip that took us (a fantastic girlfriend of mine with her own VTX 1300) 11 days to complete.Of course we spent two of these days in Myrtle Beach and two dys in Virginia Beach. So figure about 7-8 days on the road depending on the weather.A few cheap tolls (+- $1.00) but you must be prepared for the $20.00 toll on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel between Virginia Beach and Fishermans Island. Also another $20.00 for the ferry between Cedar Island and Ocracoke Bay in North Carolina.Speaking of Ocracoke Bay... make sure you have a reservation if you want to spend thee night because when we got there....NO VACANCY anywere and the ferry (free) out of the Island had closed for the night. So we ended up spending the night at the Ferry Station, on a bench used as a bed. (but it was fun anyway ;) )Cheap Motels and fantastic Diners are available along the way so it's up to you but you should expect to pay more if you stay in any city and EVEN MORE for the ocean front areas (especially on week-ends) We were lucky and only had rain on our last day going through Vermont.Have fun and ride safe!
