Motorcycle Riders Club of America is a loose collection of generic riders of all persuasions and we have meet & greet campouts every so often. This route is how Red(my wife) & I got to our latest M & G and returned home. This route is best taken in late April or late Oct for the best color but due to temp weather can be enjoyed any time of the year. From our home in Poteau Ok we backroaded to Paris AR to enjoy Mt Magazine St Park then hooked up on beautiful US 7 at Ola to Hot Springs. The route we show skips the city of Hot Springs but if you have never been there you owe it so yourselfs to stay on 7 & loop the downtown to see Bathhouse Row and visit Gulpha Gorge Nat'l Park before you visit Lake Ouachita State Park where we met. After our meet we took the north route around Lake Ouachita to avoid trafic & enjoy scenery of rural AR. If you like windy twisty roads with great scenery & frequent pull offs to take pictures then this is a very comfortable day ride.
