This rides offers a great scenic ride with rolling hills and enough curves to keep you on your toes. Start out near the beautiful Beau Rivage Casino on the beach in Biloxi, take I110 and go over the scenic back bay to HWY 15. Go North on HWY 15 through the Desoto National Forest where you can enjoy the smell and sight of Mississippi Long Leaf pines mixed with hardwoods. Beautiful in the fall with very little road traffic to contend with. HWY 15 has a good surface. Follow HWY 15 to HWY 26 and take a right to Benndale. Stop in Benndale for GAS. Take HWY 57 north where you will enjoy more of the Desoto National Forest. Here the forest starts to transition to more Hardwoods and it makes for a nice ride in Oct and November when the colors are best. When you reach HWY 98 go west towards Hattiesburg to HWY 29. Take HWY 29 South Towards Wiggins. Many nice hills on HWY 29 but be careful transiting through Camp Shelby as you will occasionally encouter an armored vehicle in training mode by the US ARMY Guard personnel. I have driven this route twice and have never encountered a training vehicle but the signs state it is possible. A turn off a Flint Creek Waterpark is available and offers picnic areas along the lake's waterfront. If you are hungry try the whistle stop Cafe downtown in Wiggins or the Sawmill Restaurant (Only open Select Hours) on Hwy 49. The Whistle Stop has very good catfish and a variety of seafood, etc. Leaving Wiggins, head south on HWY 49 to MS HWY 67, rolling hills and large smooth roads to HWY 605 South and then to HWY 90 in Gulfport MS. The White Cap Restaurant on HWY 90, BLOW FLY Inn on Bay, many other Restaurants to choose from in the old part of Gulfport. Bikers are always welcomed here on the coast as we get lots of bikers throughout the year. The ride ends with a jaunt down HWY 90 East along the Biloxi beach where there is an abundance of beautiful scenary and eateries. Stop at Beauvoir the last home of Jefferson Davis and tour the museum. Many Hotels in Biloxi Area with a variety of price ranges.
