Head north of Chisholm on Hwy 73 to Co 84 , left turn. to Hwy 5 right turn.

Hwy 5 to Co 22 make a left, watch fro Itasca Road (dirt) on your left, follow Itasca to the Snake Trail watch for the right turn to the Beatrice lake campground take this.

There are a few options for short small explorations, but the main route is to go right (west) on the Link Lake Trail to hwy 65 then north about 1/2 mile to Bear Lake road Left turn. (swimming ok at the Bear lake campground)

At the "T" go left follow the road out to the Scenic Hwy (blacktop) Left Turn. Food and fuel available at the Antler Lake.

Follow Scenic to Hwy 8 go left taking 8 to Co 56 go left to Hwy 65 make a left 1 mile, then right on Co 54. Take a left on the gravel to head back toward town. The map shows a right as an option; there is some mining areas to view if interested. Watch for large equipment passing overhead at the tunnel; then return to the gravel section.

Take the first right turn a few miles up the road to head back toward blacktop and town. At the blacktop turn right and follow hay 5 back to town or return on hwy 84.
