This is a great ride to Chattanooga staying off the highways and enjoying a ton of country roads, twisties, mountains, scenci views etc.Leave Nashville. Gas up in Mcminnville. Lunch is planned at Nooga Q BBQ in Chattanooga. Look it up before you head out. Great place to stop for lunch. After that, its onto Point Park on the other side of the river in Chattanooga. You may end up on the high way for a few miles depending what bridge you wanna go over. Point park is on Lookout Mountain. Great place for an amazing view of Chattanooga and Cumberland Plateau. After that, just follow the rest of the route as long as you feel like it. It includes 3 states and alot of beautiful roads. Depending on how much time you have left, you can choose to hop back on I-24 at Monteagle headed back toward Nashville, or continue on the route selected. That last 1/4 of the ride has some amazing roads as well.
