This was an awesome ride! I did tweak it a bit though. Started out the trip headed to Junction City. After going through Bandera, I turned off Hwy 16 at FM 1283 and took that to CR 471 and took that to 1604. 1283 and 471 offered some great views and nice riding. I only made the change for a break from that portion of Hwy 16 that I travel alot. Total miles with the tweak was approx 208.

The ride up 16 is a nice ride. Bantucky (Bandara) as we like to call it is a motorcycle friendly town, lots of pubs. Eleventh St Cowboy Bar is a nice place to stop and water up. Free hotdogs on Sunday after 3PM.

Another good stop is Coyote Campground ground bout 15 miles up the road on the left heading north, another fine establesment. Fredricksburg has recently passed a noise law, bikers beware.

Lucenbauch is not far from Fredicksburg and is worth the trip.

Willow loop, you bet, one of the best around when the flowers are in full bloom.

As you headdown 281 south stop in at the Shade Tree and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, lots of good times and lots of good food was had here.

Being from Florida I truly enjoy the Hill Counrty riding. IMHO you can't go wrong no matter were you go around here.
