Travel to the end of M37 and you'll find Lighthouse Park (see pics). Be sure and take the side route down to Old Mission Store, where the old rotary pay phone on the outside wall still works. It's also noteable that you are half way between the equator and the north pole. I was suprised to find the least expensive gasoline we found on our entire vacation was at a little country store. They also had tons of cool specialty items and several free samples of local foods.

This is a motorcycle ride in the state of Michigan. This motorcycle route has 6 scenery characteristics and other road conditions to help you plan your road trip. This motorcycle map was created by kentshaf in March. Click here to see other Motorcycle Roads by kentshaf

This is a very scenic ride. Great view of the lake, and some nice roads. Nice trip while in the Traverse City area.

We did this ride in July as part of our tour of the shoreline from Ludington to Port Huron. Old Mission Point is absolutely one of the best parts of that longer ride. In fact, it was so good, we're going back for a couple of more days next week to spend more time exploring the peninsula with stops at the general store and a vineyard or two. Thanks for sharing and Happy Trails!

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
