After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. This was a nice trip, wanted something out of the way to Lynchburg. i found sr65 from paintrock, al on a road site and it was worth the ride by itself, lots of twists and turns, very smooth pavement. the road from double springs to jasper is nice also, they were repaving when we came thru. the natchez section was nice and calm but a local cop had warned us about speeding-so a little to slow for us. the road is so nice that you have to constantly tell yourself to get off the throttle.
