Owyhee Lake Run

Wonderful ride!! Plenty of places to stop and fuel up, lots of open country roads. The road running along the Owyhee river is amazing, if you can get an Oregon temp fishing license and bring poles!! Lots of people fly fishing the river, be careful and watch for them walking out onto the road as they search for new spots to fish. The road is very casual curves until you get nearly to the dam then it gets a little steeper and some nice little cutbacks :)
Amazing photo opportunities so don't forget the camera! There is a really cool little tunnel shortly before you reach the dam but be careful of rocks. The wife and I saw lots around most every curve nothing that couldn't be avoided though and there are some small rocks in the middle of the tunnel. Overall a beautiful ride. We got the route from a fellow rider here in town and took about 5 hours or so to cover the entire thing, stopping for pictures and play in the water eat drink etc. We also brought our own food so not sure whats good for lunch anywhere along the way sorry.
