Great ride, was about 450 miles for me due to starting in Beaumont, and taking a wrong turn one time :/. 343 was a very fun rode, and 256 is one of my favorites. Would definitely recommend this ride.

This ride is a great ride with lots of rolling hills and curves, mostly backroads which are in suprisingly good condition. For first time long distance riders, the ride can be made in one day however we rode it and chose to stop at the Mission Tejas State park and spend the night completing the ride the next day. This is a really nice park, lots of historical sites to see here and along the way to the park. Leaving the park we rode into Crockett and ate breakfast at the Moosehead Cafe. The waitress says a lot of bikers stop here, it is really a step back in time, if you decide to make this ride you must stop and see this cafe. We rode 425 miles. We began the ride in Orange Texas and this added several miles to the ride but well worth it because of the scenery. You gotta try this ride, you will enjoy it.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
