This was a ride that my husband and I took in the fall. The fall colors were painted on all the hillsides as we rode on the beautiful cool day. Just past Hinton we saw Bluestone Lake and stopped briefly to take some photos. We then arrived at Pipestem State Park where the lodge offered some nice scenery of the rolling hills. We then climbed a large tower on a hill which also had some wonderful views of the leaves. We then jumped onto I-77 to exit 44 just past Beckley where we had dinner at Tamarack. Tamarack is a arts and crafts facility where West Virginian artisans showcase all their work. The Greenbrier Resort provides a great restaurant at Tamarack with a variety of selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We topped off our meal with pecan pie and peanut butter cookies and then we continued up the highway to home in Charleston.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
