After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. Previous Casino RunEarlier I had posted a run titled, Casino Run. In the description I mentioned that the idea was born from from a previous end of the year run. The criteria was that it had to be someplace warm since it likes to get cold and rainy up here in the northwest in the fall and winter month's.

We wanted entertatainment as close as posible. A casino seemed like the best choice. It offered food, liqour, gambling, music, dancing and lodging all in one location. How can you beat that.

On this trip it was summers last gasp. By that I mean it was hotter than usual. the high 90's to just over a 100 degree's in southern Washington. The roads went from flat to rolling to twisty to hilly. Considering that the Pendleton roundup was a week out we were lucky to get lodging.
All the accomidations lived up to expectations and it was well worth it.
