Head northeast on 189 (Provo Canyon Road) from Orem, and you're in for some great riding. The river winds right beside the road as you head toward Deer Creek Reservoir. There are a couple of great places to pull off and take some photos.

It'll be hard not to look at the amazing scenery, but there are plenty of twists, turns and elevation changes; so keep your eyes on the road while your moving.

Once you turn north on Hwy 40, the road straightens out a bit, but the scenery is still amazing. Park City is a great place to spend the afternoon shopping and/or dining. Be sure to allow yourself time to stop and look around.
