This is a real motorcycle road. I stopped to chat with a couple who were taking a break before heading out on this road. They'd ridden it multiple times - and they live in Iowa. During the 10-15 minutes we were there, about 10 bikes passed by either going up the road or coming down off of it, and no cars. There was even a guy out taking pictures from www.pushmountainpics.com.
If you're riding anywhere near this road, it's worth a detour.
