Great ride started out cold 39 deg but warmed up to 59, would be a prettier ride in the fall with the colors. See a lot of old historic towns, rolling hills.

Road Characteristics:

Guzzidude says:
Robby and I rode this Sat, Jan 19th. Road from Port Vincent and Springfield is very nice, curvy and smooth. Hwy 51 out of Hammond is okay, lots of small towns, but turns hilly and scenic the closer to Mississippi you get. Roads to Foxworth are good, hilly, and some curves and in better shape than Louisiana back roads.
Hwy 587 between Foxworth and Monticello is hilly, plenty of sharp curves, and in generally good condition.
The destination was Red Bluff, where nature has begun to change the landscape and reclaimed the old road. It has been quipped as the Grand Canyon of Mississippi, and it is. Lots of color and steep drop offs. Good day ride for us.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
