Red Rock Scenic Drive is just that'Scenic'. It's not a road racers dream, it is just a nice scenic ride. Stop at the pullouts and take a moment. View the moving specks on the red rocks off in the distance......those are people climbing the face of those red rock walls.This is just a little side trip out of Vegas that was nice, we did more and found some great roads and a cool biker bar, but I forgot where it was! I will go back one day and find it, so I can share that ride!
Of course I always like riding The Strip when in town, especially at night! Something about all those lights reflecting off the chrome of that Harley that.......I know, I know, it's crowded and straight and flat......but sometimes, I just like the Flash!

I ride this route often after work (8:00 PM) The park loop is closed, so what we do is ride the Charleston Loop to Blue Diamond (160) and up the hill To Mountain Springs. There is a cool little saloon up there and the air is nice and cool. In the summer this night ride is good. Best with a half helmet and during a full moon. Peace.
