This is a good ride but if you want to shorten it a bit but still see great stuff (like the Buffalo Farm); start from Paint Bank and go west on Route 600/Waiteville Rd and merge to Stoney Creek Rd until you junction Rt 460 in Giles County, VA. Then continue with directions as posted by rad-medic.
