This is a 1 way ride that I make a couple of times a year. Starts in the farmland of central SC and goes through the Sumter National Forest and into the mountains of North Georgia and North Carolina. Clemson University is only a short side trip. After Walhala, SC the road becomes increasingly twisty until the road from Highlands to Franklin that has many 20 MPH curves and switchbacks. It also features a large river with many rapids and a waterfall that is very near the road.

This is a motorcycle ride in the states South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina. This motorcycle route has 8 scenery characteristics and other road conditions to help you plan your road trip. Made this ride on a Monday so traffic was light. I was coming home from Thunder in the Smokeys in Maggie Valley.
