After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. A lot of little towns, until you reach Lake Mattamuskeet, then pretty much nothing but a straight road. There are a lot of wildlife viewing and hiking opportunities, that lead to more wildlife viewing away from the road. If you plan to take some time, take water and snacks. the road can be rough in sections, so be aware of this.
