This route starts @ freeway speeds through some twisty road. When you get to the mountains ridge, the road straightens out to being just curvey. There are great panoramic views of the valley (especially on days with a mild Santa Ana wind). There are few gas stations along this route except in Big Bear.I always get fuel in Big Bear.I like to end this ride with a stop at Mill Creek Cattle Company for Bar-B-Q & spirits
