Road Trip to Muenster for Lunch

If you are looking for a great ride out of the DFW area then look no further. I have looked online seeking a great route from Richardson that would just take about 4 to 6 hours to complete. FOUND IT! My wife and I embarked on our journey around 0900 on a Saturday morning, stopped in a Chick-Fila for breakfast then hit the road! Celina was our first stop, neat little town with lots of charm, got on 455 headed West to Sanger, nice ride over Lake Ray Roberts Dam. Forestburg is your next stop then North on 677 to Saint Jo. The scenery is awesome, while on the tops of the hills you can see a long long way. Nice twisty turny & roller coaster roads will make you want to ride this route a few times. From Saint Jo take 2382 North to Bulcher then Southeast to Muenster. This is a nice little German town with lots of charm. We stopped in at Doc's Bar & Grill at the corner of 82 & 373. Nice place with great food, lots of bikers while we were there. Great food and atmosphere! The roads from Muenster back to Sanger are very nice with lots to see. I try to keep the routes interesting for my lovely wife, she gets bored if she sees the same thing all the time. This trip also takes you around Lake Lewisville so you get to see the water while riding over the bridges. Lots of good restaurants to stop in at and a few biker bars along the way as well.
