I had just spent 4 days in Billings at the National HOG Rally in 06' when I started back to Fla. This was avery emotional section for me as I rode thru the rolling prairies and saw several herds of deer and one with a huge antelope standing in one herd. I don't know if it was because of all of the indian spirits in the area or what, but this leg is one that will be at the top of my list for a very long time!! I would suggest starting with a full tank and getting gas before you need it. The portion of US 212 was the best section, if you are in that area.

Each road you ride will mean something different to you than everyone else. This ride was a spiritual event for me. It was so moving to see the deer & antelope watching me as I passed by while I was seemingly in another world. There was definately a presence of indian spirits. This coming from someone who is not very spiritual.
