Started in central phoenix taking Glendale ave to Grand AVE(us60)Take that to Wickenberg.Once in Wickenberg Take route93 towards Kingman.turn off on route 89 and that takes you to Prescott.Passing through Congress,Yarnell, and Peeples Valley.Nice open roads with lots of farms and mountain views. You then get to Wilhoit. This is your chance to get a beer in the middle of NOWHERE!Cool Biker friendly bar called Grammas Whorehouse(Sorry not that kind of place, but does have pool tables and a good jukebox)After the brief stop continued on to Prescott. You are now going up in elevation and you are now weaving and winding through the Prescott National Forest.Awesome views and great weather.Right before you get to Prescott you will pass the White Spar Campgrounds if you want set up camp. This road takes you right into the downtown plaza that surrounds the Yavapai County Courthouse.I decided I had to checkout the Bird Cage Saloon. After a great ride you willwant to get something to eat in town.My camera wasnt working on the way there but the great guys at radio shack helped me out and I decided to come back the same way so I could get some pictures. If you decide to take this run, make sure you stop and say hello to Mary Ann at the Bird Cage.

I suggest avoiding Highway 60 near Phoenix -- go north on I-17 and then take Highway 74 west to 60 -- it is an open road with interesting Volcanic hills, and you avoid the Highway 60 stops lights near Boswell hospital!
