A very popular loop for sportbikers in the Greensboro, Winston Salem area, route 66 is the heart of this ride. This is a rural road with pavement that is often less than smooth, and frequent, tight decreasing radius corners that may be off camber. Expect some gravel in some of the corners after a rain. Plan accordingly. Beautiful scenery and a road that will definitely test your riding skills.

This is a motorcycle ride in the state of North Carolina. This motorcycle route has 8 scenery characteristics and other road conditions to help you plan your road trip. I rode this route today, most of it anyways. 7 of us rode it, but we all come from a few hours away, and we visited Hanging Rock also, and rode back through Mount Airy. A very nice ride. Next time I want to ride the whole thing. I loved Route 66, didn't ride all of Route 89. Thanks Anonymous_Motorcyclist for posting it.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
