Some beautiful scenery, pretty shady valley roads that are cool and breezy. Many curvy country roads. A few places to sit in the shade by the river and fish or soak your feet. A couple small town main streets where you can stop for a beverage and a snack, or shop for crafts. It's highly likely you will see a long train on the tracks through the hills on this trip.If you are interested in Civil War battle sites, there are several near this loop.Has some technical parts that could be tough for new riders (tight twisty turns on steep hills with potholes and gravel).

This is right in my backyard, fantastic roads, scenery, and great restaurants. If Ben doesn't point these lightly travelled roads they would remain a secret! For you dual sport/adv riders, just past the train station in Harper's Ferry there is a rough gravel section with a water crossing that stays on this route without the small loop around HF, just stay right beside the river, several old ruins of civil war era buildings and a defunct power station along that road too.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
