Rt 13 south from Newark through scenic farmland of Perry county to about 50 miles to Ohio Scenic Byway Rt 78 East through Burr Oak State Park.Go about 10 miles to Rim of the world private property view point.Owner has give permission to trespass on their abandoned property.It's a wide spot about 10 miles once you turn onto 78.View objects upto 50 miles away.Then proceed to Mcconnolsville about another 10 miles for a stop at McDonolds.Continue along Rt 60 North along the Muskingim river 26 miles to Zanesville where you pickup 146 and ride through Dillon lake area.Go about 25 miles to Rt 16 and return to Newark.If you like great scenery this is the ride for you.Plenty of pit stops in Newark,Somerset,New Lexington,Glouster,McConnelsville,Zanesvillealong with Schmidties Sunoco at 146 and 16.A great ride.
