You can't miss a short ride through Fort Sheridan when you're on this trip. The "Town of Fort Sheridan" is a decommissioned army base. Beautiful homes and historical buildings. It's on the lake and just off of Sheridan Road.

Fun route. Coming from the loop, I'll often take LSD and transition onto Sheridan from Hollywood. I like to go early in the morning, the later in the morning, the more bicyclists there are.

It's a nice route that I've taken after riding Lake Shore Drive. Very beautiful. Though, I agree with rcalica, it is patrolled heavily. Watch your speed.

i ride this route regularly, and it has it's moments. would be great if the twisties continued for a bit, but the scenery makes up for it. the ride through the north shore area is chock full of multi-million dollar real estate.

Beautiful gardens and homes. Gentle curves, can't speed - patrolled regularly.

I ride this route regularly; it's a pleasant Sunday morning ride, curves, low speed, nice scenery. It's almost all residential, with some places to stop for coffee or breakfast.
