1974 Labor Day weekend ride.Tourist trip through Venice, Santa Monica, Topanga Canyon, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo. Then followed Highway 1 to Monterey. Mostly overcast then riding in cold drippy fog San Simeon to Deetjen's Big Sur Inn. Got the last room and a feather bed.Next day, a fast run down the canyon to Point Sur. Jumped to 101 in Salinas and finished at Moffitt Field Mountain View. Returned via I-5, 485mi.
