After nearly 20 years, we've decided to close our doors on August 11th and pursue our next grand adventure. The growth of this site and community surpassed our wildest expectations. This is a trip my daughter Andrea and I took right after she graduated from college this spring. We took off from North Webster Indiana on a Friday afternoon looking like rain. Sure enough, we got into rain about 45 min from home. Stopped and put the rain gear on. Our goal on Friday was to get to Indianapolis to my niece's home to stay the night. The only stop on the way to Indy was to look at a wind farm just north of Elwood.
We took off the next morning @ 6:00AM, Andrea was thrilled. It was cool and still misting a little. We got around Indy and headed south on 135 toward Nashville, Indiana. We just drove thru Nashville but we want to go back to spend more time in this little town. Looks like a nice place to visit.
135 south of Nashville is a great motorcycle road with lots of tight curves and hills. We then headed west on 50 and north toward Bloomington then back east on 46 toward Nashville and back home to North Webster. Long 2nd day. Next time I would spend more time traveling the back roads of southern Indiana.
