This was our way to jumpstart spring. No matter how many times you make this ride or part of this ride it is always uplifting to the soul. From home we jump over to Hyway 10, east to Booneville, north on 23 to Ozark and then take the 'pigtrail'. You have to stop at Turner's Bend, very biker friendly, have drink of choice & look at all the new T-shirts. Off again to Brashears and on thru St Paul to where 16 & 23 split. Take 16 east to Fallsville (plenty of curvy woody hills of Ozark Mtn range), turn north on 21 & ride to Boxly. If you feel up to it this will test your braking & leaning skills. At Boxly you cross the Buffaloe river and try to pick out Elk sometimes feeding in the pastures. Stay on 43 out of pristine valley enjoy the great riding to Harrison. Take 7 south to Jasper, fuel if needed, hunger is satisfied at the Ozark Cafe on the Cty square. 7 cuts accross the Ozark Mtn range running the ridges with majestic views on either side. Take 7 to Russelville, good spot to rest your monkey butt and refresh. Stay on 7 accross the river to hyway 27, take 27 south to Danville. This stretch is just good windy two lanes. Keep on 27 thru town to 80, turn west and enjoy 80 to Waldron, easy riding almost no traffic thru the farms and woodland. 80 cuts thru Waldren and will end on 28. Go west on 28 to Heavner OK, just past the big feed mill look For Norris Creek RD and turn north. If have the interest you will go past the entrance to Heavner Runestone State Park where you can see evidence of the Viking cravings thought to be cut into the rock about 350 years before Columbus discovered America. Norris Creek Rd ends on 83 & now I am home and wishing I could take another ride.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
