Scenic route but can be very busy which restricts looking around. NOT a sportbike venue as there are too many intersections and local traffic. Take your time and don't pass and you'll be fine.

This is one of my favorite rides , we stop at Castle Rock State Park and Lowden State Park to see the Indian statue up on the hill.The citys of Oregon and Dixon got good restaurants to stop to.
A part of the road was flooded last Aug.from all the rain we got in IL. Mike
