St. Lou. Jasper Ark. Ultra scenic route

In my opinion this is some of the best roads in the Mo/Ark area,at least that are somewhat close to Metropolitan St. Louis. Great switch backs,very little traffic and stunning views. The Buffalo River area is probably one of the best kept secrets in the nation.(see link for history).We have been through the area quite a few times and have found a few sweet spots. Japer Ark. is an awesome spot,it is home to Judea Mt. off of Hwy.7 you will find a scenic lookout tower that offers a killer view.We have stayed at The Cliff House Inn,directly up the road and have shared many nights on the tower gazing at the stars.They have wholesome good food,clean rooms and boost an unforgetable view of the deepest canyon in Ark. We also have stayed at The Arkansas House which is downtown,they have 100% organic foods that they raise on their local farm,very good eats! The only hazards we have found on the roads include ElK,deer,cougar and Black Bear. The Elk rut from Sept-Nov. They are mostly found in the Ponca area...but keep your eyes peeled.
