St. Marks to Steinhatchee

This ride starts in the little river town of St. Marks. Be sure to visit the site of the old spanish fort and check out the Riverside Cafe. Ride down through the St. Marks National Wildlife refuge and see the St. Marks Lighthouse. (Costs $5 to enter the refuge - well worth it) Ride around Steinhatchee and check out all the great spots to sit and watch the river. The Gulfstream Marina across the river in Jena is a good spot. This is a very rural road. The town of Perry is the only city you ride through. Some sweeping curves, mostly straight, flat and almost deserted roads.
