Sometimes I just have time to jump on my bike and take a short ride down Hwy 33 from moulton to Double Spring, Al and back. It's about a 40 minute ride each way.
This is a good wide newly backtopped roadway that snakes and curves it's way through the Bankhead Nataional Forest. It has long curves as well as several long straight aways through rolling hills surounded by tall shade trees.
If you get close to AL Hwy 33 it's worth your time, this road is the definition of cursing in the country.
