Sunshine Skyway, Manatee River, Gulf Beaches

Here we are crossing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. It is always a great view from up here. It can get a little tense for some because of the height.After crossing the bridge you wander along a scenic Manatee river ride to Desoto Park





Pictuesque little park with a great view of the bay. Then move to a 25 mile ride along the Gulf Of Mexico beaches. Be sure to stop at New Pass Grill & Bait Shop, just south of the draw bridge.




This a really good ride when the weather is cool. Being a Florida boy I have had my fill of the beaches during the summer! Watch the traffic around St. Armands Circle. It is a really scenic area and there are a lot of people walking around with their noses pointed skyward! But it is fun to ride through and watch them gawk!!!
