I recommend this road for a Saturday ride. Lots of different scenery along this route. Rolling hills and sweeping curves lined with trees. You get to see a good mix of high plains prairie and farming land. At the time Ranch Rd 656 was not open or I would have taken that also. The major draw back is how rough the road is. Touring bikes may not find it a problem. Road traffic is very light and there are plenty of places to stop along the road. I don't advise to take this road on Sunday as you may have a hard time finding fuel.

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
