For anyone that has $200 and wants to see how fast there ride will go in a mile has their chance twice a year. You can just watch for $10. http://www.texasmile.net/ This overnight road trip to the Texas Mile event was in October. We started in Rosenberg, Ft. Bend Co. Texas. This 500 mile road trip took us to the Texas Mile, down to an overnight stay in Kingsville and back home along the Texas cost. The weather was great and the scenery was even better. All of the roads average for Texas. If you go on this route you don’t have to stop at The Texas Mile. The trip down to Kingsville was great. However, the road back was even better. You may want to spend more time coming back along the cost route. There are kinds of things to see in these towns along the way. We stopped on Port Aransas for lunch at Mobby Dick’s. After that we hoped a Ferry to Aransas Pas and on the Rockport. Be sure to take the Fulton Beach Dr. We finish the trip by taking some nice quit back roads surround by farm and cattle land. You might want to try to do this trip in one day, but I don’t think you will want to after you get to the cost roads. I hope you enjoy the ride ……. We did.
