You Start the Ride in ponchatoula, La. I reccommend eating breakfast at historics Pauls cafe in downtown. Once you leave Ponchatoula you will ride into springfield and this is where the Alligators Tail truly starts. Long tight curves that parellel swamps and rivers and run through many little towns that dont even have stop signs. once you get to airline highway you get a break for a few minutes from the twisty turny's. (good time to check fuel) Then you will meet up with the mighty Mississippi River and let it guide you all the way into historic Downtown Baton Rouge which will complete your ride with many places to chowdown for lunch!!! Enjoy. Ps- i have ridden this road on cruisers and crocth rockets its a blast no matter what!!!
