It's the one everyone talks about. The 'uber' motorcycle road. Also sometimes referred to as 'Deals Gap', this road wont disappoint. With 318 curves in 11 miles, this road defines very twisty. Got a picture from The Dragon? Send it to me and I'll post it here.

I have ridden this route many times. It's a great ride. I found that weekdays are best. Riding it in the rain is a rush but will not be doing that again.

Great ride! Only rated it 4 stars because we rode the Cherohala the same day and enjoyed it considerably more. Rode on Thursday just before lunch and there was hardly any other traffic.

I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be after all the hype but I'm glad I did it just to be able to say I did. The curves are great but the speed limit is only 30 mph and there were cops every mile. That may be because i went on Memorial Day weekend and there were literally thousands of bikes out that day. The sports bikers ruined it too because they wanted to pass you on the curves going 90! It is definately worth the experience at least once. I may go bacck when it's less crowded, if there is such a time.

This is a great ride, I have been on the Dragon close to a dozen times and love it! I do not recommend riding it on a busy holiday weekend. Early morning runs are the best after the morning dew drys. Ride safe!
