This looping tour skips the long scenic straight-aways along the Connecticut shoreline in lieu of slower waterfront excursions along Rhode Island beach fronts and parks. Traffic will vary based on time of year, but there are excellent shops and dining along the way. Stop in the Point Judith area for a great lunch or dinner. I enjoy this route before Memorial Day or after Labor Day to avoid most of the crowds.

I'll make this a full-day ride by staying on US-1 through Stonington, Mystic and Groton. It's all good!

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
