This is a really nice trip no matter where you start it. It gives you some really nice scenery, takes you through some neat little towns and has plenty of places to stop along the way. The whole trip is two lane rural highway, except the US90 route along the beach, which is four lane divided. Mississippi has some of the best two lane highways, very well maintained and very low traffic. Some key places I personally recommend stopping at is Ellisville (neat little town); Laurel (has a really cool brick road old town square with several blocks of shops); The Shed BBQ at Hwy 57 and I-10 (Bring your appetite...awesome food, super cool atmosphere, usually lots of bikes and great people); and of course, anywhere along the beach (especially during the summer months! Eye candy on the sand! Just be careful not to crash!). I'll try to snap some pictures the next time I'm on it. The overal trip is just under 300 miles, so make sure you can devote the better part of a day (figuring in some rest stops, of course).

The best of the best. These folks have ridden and shared more roads than any other ORJ member this month.
